Disney has announced that the wait is over, 17 December 2010; Tron Legacy will bring us back to the gladiatorial games of the ENCOM Mainframe.<br />Employing the writing talents of Adam Horowitz, Edward Kitsis and Richard Jefferies, Tron Legacy at least has a chance of being a more successful release for Disney than its predecessor given the talents of all three writers and the massive cult following the original has gained since its 1988 debut.<br /><br />The story picks up 25 years after the disappearance of Kevin Flynn (Jeff Bridges) and follows Flynn’s son (Sam) investigating the disappearance of his father who has been trapped inside the digital world for 25 years, and it is up to Flynn junior to go in as rescue him.<br /><br />As more details appear I find myself becoming more and more excited about the prospect, but I have been let down badly before so I guess I won’t get my hopes up, but if the trailer is anything to go by, then we shouldn’t be disappointed.<br /><br />I was four years old when Tron hit the big screens and had to wait a few years before I got to see the film, I was suitably impressed as a child but the benchmark was set, very high, I (and many other Tron fans) expect nothing short of brilliance.<br /><br />Check out the trailer for yourself <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a1IpPpB3iWI">here </a><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/5953746296678628810-330387395739340552?l=expandgreed.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>David Bhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15224327461704819750noreply@blogger.com0
